I've done it for about.... 11 years. I've done martial arts since I was five, and at one point when I competed in tourneys I was a world champion in the boys division (boy did that make a lot of parents mad, but hey, there were no girls in my division to fight.) and state champion I think 3-5 times. It's definately worth doing, in my opinion. I've settled down since then, though. Now I teach karate to special needs children and I do Mixed Martial Arts (M.M.A.). Which is like the Ultimate Fighter (if you guys watch) which is basically everything is legal fighting. ('sept for nut shots, of course.)

I could pwn you all at fencing *has been taking it since he can remember even has first place trophies in fencing* I had to quit about 2 years ago though because my knee got worse (has had a screwed up knee since he was five. :/)
