(And about the collars... what if the Purebloods used the collars on the Turncoats to suppress their powers, but told them it was to keep them from going feral? Might help explain that difference.)

Personal Background:  Grew up in a broken home.  He was always picked on by other furs for the smallest things.  When he turned 15 he decided that he had had enough of everyone making fun of him so he turned on everyone he had known by leading the humans into their small village.  They rewarded him by sparing his own life and offering him a spot in the Bloodline.
