Whats your guys opinion?

For me, they should of made it PG-13 that way they could of added more things.
Also they missed alot of the things, like GOKU'S TAIL.

Also Goku was asian!
and wayy more muscular.
They needed a better actor!

Other then that, it was okay.

Me and my friends are huge fans of Dragon Ball Z so we went to see it on it's opening night Friday and It was actually better than we thought it was going to be.  We were expecting it to be really terrible but overall We enjoyed it.  I was disappointed that Yamcha didn't use his wolf fang fist and the last fight scene should have been longer but at least that got the surrounding environment right for the final fight.

Really? Its not horrible? I was going to wait for it to come to Redbox so I could pay a dollar to see it. I (Might) have to see it in the thearers.

I'm actually going to be very upset if they don't make a dragon ball z movie just because I want to see goku go super saiyan.  Also I would be greatly impressed if they could get his hair to stand perfectly straight up.  And maybe it's just me but I thought they should have gotten the guy that played the main character in mortal combat to play goku.

I feel that I should go in a corner with my Dragonball Z DvDs and hug them while crying in the fetal position. My childhood hath been murthered.

From what I saw on the commercials, it was more like the Peter Parker treatment in school to Goku... Which.. Ugh. It only works for spiderman. It's like they tried basing Dragonball in today's society.. Which was a horrible idea in my opinion.

ok, i saw it.. my experience?

it's definitely not a good movie, and it seemed to be completely oblivious to the anime, since it didn't follow the facts put down at all.. i dont want to spoil here, but believe me, its bad.

i mean, grandpa Gohan is alive when Goku is a teen! Goku killed him when he was a kid! oh, also, if you're expecting a impressing Oozaru, be prepared to be disappointed.

as for the actor casting.. let me just say, i dont know what the director was thinking.. especially the actor playing Yamcha was Horrible with a capital H.. it was so increddibly obviously over-acted that i couldnt help but being annoyed by him.
all the characters are acting pretty obviously, except for maybe Chow Yun Fat, the actor for master roshi who lives in a, in this movie, extremely lame looking kame house.

bottom line, if you intend on seeing a good movie, avoid this!

yeah i HATE this movie it was absolute rubbish, the actors don't look anything like the anime characters (unless you have SEVERE eyesight problems). and the story was rubbish i rate it 0.5/10 (cause the popcorn was nice)
