Have you ever seen Spiderman: Unlimited? And if you did, were you slightly offended by it? (Basically it's a Spiderman spinoff where all the badguys are furries.)
(Personally, I like Spiderman, but Spiderman Unlimited almost ruined my appreciation for Spiderman. And it's not because I was offended, it's because I didn't think it fit the Spiderman universe at all, and I think the whole Super Mutant Furry Men take over a second Earth plot seems really stupid to me.)
