I see dead squirrels all the time, I'm not really bothered that much by dead animals. I mean its sad and all depending on circumstances, but you cant prevent everything and cant change everyone's mind. I wear a fox tail which I received from a long expired fox from the 70's which was being sold on ebay, he finds used old furs, refurbishes them and sells them to prevent the killing of more animals for the same product. I do small amounts of taxidermy myself from animals found on the roads. Im on the fence about animal hunting, if all their parts are used then I have no problem with it, if its just for the fur then Im against it. There isnt much of a difference with the cows you eat and the deer getting shot, its just rare to display the cow in taxidermy. Farm animals get torchured more often and far worse than wild animals shot for their skin. Take things with a grain of sand, or the entire world is going to look like hell.

The only kind of trophy thing I was ever proud of was my best friend's stuffed wolf cub. She didn't want to let it go and when Cain got out of the yard, he was run over by a truck and Lily cried forever.... I wanted to make it up to her so I took Cain to my uncle and had him stuffed for her. She's never been happier.

I mean, yea you can't prevent EVERYTHING, but it would help to stop things we can. I agree with taking animals that are already dead, or leather because we're going to eat them anyway, but we have our place, so an animal should have their place.

A big issue I have is the hunting for furs, that's just unnecessary. Granted we do need to regulate the population but only if we can control ourselves. The waste products of the human race is embarrassing.

No kidding, killing for fur is senseless. And we dont need to regulate populations of anything, eventually given enough time (like 10-20yrs) the populations that "need" regulating will regulate themselves. This holds true to coyotes, wolves, etc. Humans didnt regulate populations before, they dont need to now.

If anything, we need to regulate our populations. Wether you want to admit it or not, there IS a carrying capacity for us, and the quality of life will diminish as our numbers increase.

Favorite animals are Fox, Wolf, and Dog... And I've seen far too many Wolves and Dogs dying... Period. It almost makes me sad.

I completely agree. If I see one more picture of wolf's fur being sold on the internet, I'm going to scream.
I've cried over the issue, actually. My Biology teacher last year and I still talk about it to this day. Poaching makes us disgusted.

Sometimes the human race is embarassing. Especially then they stuff animals, then dress them up weird for souveniers

The ones I've seen used were the ones that had washed up way on shore and had no chance of returning. My friend's dad ran a seashell shack along Jupiter Beach when we were younger..

Why display a dead body? thats my stance on it i mean let nature run it's course and don't dedsecrate the bodies with googly eyes and glitter and other such stuff
I enjoy long walks on the beach, getting stuck in the rain and a good mosh pit on the weekends.
