A doctor talks to his patient about some test results:

Doctor: I have bad news, and I have worse news
Patient: Oh dear! What's the bad news?
Doctor: According to these results, you have 24 hours to live
Patient: Oh dear! What could possibly be worse?
Doctor: Well, the worse news is that I've been trying to contact you since yesterday!

The patient then suddenly died
