Humanity against the World
Everyday I see the same sights,
The same people getting into fights,
The same people fuming over trivial things,
The same people who think they are kings.
I walk on by, music blaring in my ear,
In this day and age we are filled with fear,
Anybody could shoot, stab or maim you,
Nobody to trust, none to turn to.
I just watch the world go by,
Depression lingering in the murky, grey sky.
I can't help but wonder as so many die,
How many realise humanity is a lie?
Humans are not mammals, not even vermin,
They are but a virus, I am learning.
Humanity destroys all it touches,
The World is in its dark clutches.
It's never over, just another day...
Of hoping this virus stays at bay...
I see the same people, the same selfish desires,
The same ego's, the same destructive fires.
The World is being tortured by this terrible race,
These monsters destroying all in nearby space!
My tail is revealed to all and I unsheathe my claws,
I'm glad I'm not human and so I roar...!
