I wrote this story in a dream I had about a month ago. I remembered it so clearly, I found a piece of paper and wrote down key points (in the dark) and filled in parts at school during study hall. There will be a few installments. Hope you enjoy "Where Am I?"

“….only in dreams / In beautiful dreams.†I quietly sang along to the Roy Orbison song as I drove the silver Monte Carlo quietly down the curvy, rain soaked road with my little sister trying to sleep lying shotgun in the passenger seat. I’m going to be so late, I thought to myself as I stared at the green lights protruding from the digital clock which read 6:55 AM. Fifteen minutes before school starts, and I live half an hour from the school.
I kept staring at the clock until I somehow found myself (get this) in a prison in Nashville, Tennessee. Without a clue of how I got there, I looked and looked and looked until I saw two familiar faces standing, apparently waiting for me at the prison entrance. I wanted to go back but something was pushing me from behind toward them as they smiled and gestured to me. “Welcome! You’ll be spending the rest of your trashy life with us!†Said Joe MacLellan in his high tenor voice, a tall young man with short, spiky blond hair.
“Yeah! It’s ‘real’ fun here!†Claira Cason said with her usual sarcastic tone. I asked what I was doing here but the both looked at me like I had gone crazy, which after that they laughed. “You’re in prison silly! Don’tchya remember?†Claira said again. I responded with, “No I don’t.†I turned around to go back the way I came but two large guards picked me up by the armpits and took me into the black, gothic like building.
“What the hell?†I said struggling to get away. They carried me up the stairs to a large hallway filled with doors. “Go to the third door on the right,†the bigger of the two guards said deeply and evilly.
“There must be a mistake sir…I….I didn’t do anything wrong. I was just driving my sister to school when…†The smaller guard interrupted me. “When you hit that bus full of kids, sending them to their deaths down a steep embankment into the river, drowning them all.â€ÂÂ
I couldn’t believe what I had just heard! The more intimidating of the two guards took me to the door and threw me in where there was just a white bed and a tall floor lamp. “I’ve been expecting you,†said a voice out of nowhere. “Have a seat. You’re two minutes late. Where have you been?†I tried to explain my confusion to him but he yelled again, “Where have you been?!†So frightened, I responded weakly with, “I don’t know sir,†and sat down.
“Here, you’re never late for anything. Understand? Take your clothes off,†The man ordered. Not knowing what else to do, I slowly took them off with a red face.
Test after rigorous test was done on me and when he was finally finished after what seemed like hours, I felt violated of my privacy. “Alright. Put this thing on and get out of here.†He said giving me an orange jump suit. I did as he said, put my arms, legs, and tail through the appropriate holes and high-tailed it out of there looking back to see if he was going to attack me. I heard my name called to the right of me when I stepped out into the hallway. I saw Joe. “Come on! It’s chow time!†he said. He yanked my arm and I found myself in a large cafeteria full of people I knew: teachers, friends, family, parents, and others I knew in my life. “What is this place?â€ÂÂ
