Her eyes widen slightly while she looks into the fire, realizing at least one reason why she was so emotional and out of it. She shakes her head and puts on a smile while the fire warms her up. Serena licks Vee's paw and Vee looks down at the fox who looks back at her with a look that seems to show concern. "I'm fine." Vee whispers to her, almost inaudible. Serena rests her head on Vee's leg when she's reassured and Vee keeps petting her.
