It has nothing to do with people not caring. People just don't usually respond to this thread with comments on a regular basis, they usually just post their fursona character sheet and move on (and update it later on when things are different).

I'm not going to do a bio for each character like that, but I can break down where they came from, and how they relate to me.

My first char was named "Tribane Agensash".  He had several other names, but that was his 'real' name.  A sci-fi based character, he was a warrior with a sort of arc-welder sword.  He was part-time furry, in a sort of werewolf fasion he could become an anthro or feral wolf, retaining a few of his normal features - long red hair, green eyes, and some scars on his face.  As related to me he looked almost identical as a human, and the anthro version was an idealised anthro mirror as is common.  He represented innocence and a desire to be and support good, sort of a paladin, though without the 'high and mighty' often attributed to such orders in roleplay.  He also grew up alone, with a major disaster in his backstory killing his parents, which was a common theme for me back then.  He had a good/evil struggle inside himself due to a demon's curse related to the death of his parents.

I had a few short-lived characters I never really got into, but I started playing foxes, and have remained fairly consistent in that, with only a few experimental diversions.

My next major and long-lived character was 'Akisame', which means 'Autumn Rain'.  He was a kitsune, my third attempt at creating one I liked, and he stuck.  He was purely a cream color, with only vague hints of slightly darker fur mixed in, but more of a two-tone, no particular pattern.  He also had green eyes - all my characters do.  He was taller than me, with an effeminate but capable build.  The goal of this character was to represent the stories and collected data on Kitsune mythology in Japan, but still have room for customization as a character - I did not follow the foxtrot guide, if anyone's familiar; I read 'Kitsune, Kumiho, Huli-Jing, Fox' on issendai.com, and kitsune.org's collection of stories.  Some chinese Huli-jing got in there too, as I liked the drinking-buddies stories, the inclusion of positive human-kitsune interaction outside of sex.

Akisame, for me, represented intellect and social capability, as well as a desire for creation, and absorbed my artistic talents.  He was mischievous but attempted to be benevolent - serving himself *and* others, making friends rather than enemies, using tricks for humor, or to make things work out, rather than to cheat or steal.

Finally, there's Nevan Morgan, displayed in my current avatar.  A more complex coloration based on Akisame's, he was supposed to be Akisame's spritual successor while re-integrating more wholesome, 'true good' aspects as Tribane did.  He's my height, and pretty much my build, his legs being the most excercised part of him due to lots of walking.  Also with green eyes, and with reverse-coloration as far as foxes go - the lighter, cream color on the outside, and a cinnamon or brown-sugar from chin down the chest.  Then he's got dark brown rings around his wrists and ankles (well, where the 'socks' would start on a normal red fox), and a similar ring near his tailtip, the fur following it the same brown-sugar as the chest.  He also has two 'comets' as seen in the avatar, one under each eye.  *And* the brushstroke, *and* the tipped ears.

Nevan is a tinkerer, employing the more technical aspect of my creative side.  He likes to see how things work, and make things work.  Starting with simple mechanical machines, he eventually finds himself in more and more futuristic environments, until he's working with portable computers and VR/AR equipment, but he refuses to modify himself with cybernetics.  Nevan's an explorer but a bit shy, fitting my fall from the social scene, and is nervous about big responsibility - preferring to just do his thing.

And *that* is why I'm going by 'mulchardude'.  Perhaps I could be the fox of many faces?
