First part was good, especially two levels (guess which ;)
United Offensive (expansion pack) is much better due to the more epic and more original battles (Holland, Kharkov, Sicily)
Second part is teh best, I play it regular on mods (sounds, blood effects, russian dubbing, modified levels, weapons, skins and scopes) ;)
I didn't play fourth part (requirements are too hight)

Its a toss up between the first and the 4th.

On the one hand, the first was the first time you got that feeling of being in a intense battle. Plus it had a few very good missions, such as when you invade the shores near stalingrad, simply amazing. Price dies in this one.

But Call of Duty 4 was awesome too giving you the same intense feeling of battle with lots of bells and whistles that you can only get today. Not to mention the ending tugged at me a bit I felt sad when your team mates died. Even though its a sprayfest I feel its probably the best MP in the series. Price dies once again in this one.

I wouldn't call it one of the best games ever, but it is definately a good one. Graphics are top notch and the singleplayer is very good. However the multiplayer is little more then a skill lacking sprayfest and some of the gun balance is off. Personally I think Battlefield 2 was a far superior multiplayer game. Its guns actually required precision for the most part.

Storyline was standard but very appealing to me, as well as the ending which upset me I really liked Price and Gaz.

Sound effects were spot on

I preferred COD4. Mostly due to the fact I've grown bored with the endless parade of WW2 games and this was a very welcome change in pace. And on top of that I love the multi player. I'm still working on reaching the second prestige level right now though.

As for the Capt. Price dying twice thing. Price is his family name. The Price that died in the other COD was his ancestor.

Yeah, and both Price were good soldiers.

I used to play MP a lot but it grows old quickly and more and more people are finding exciting new ways to cheat and exploit. It gets old quickly Im on my 4th prestige and I've pretty much given up

My only gripe with the multilayer on COD4 is how everyone seems so obsessed with the grenades and the Noob-tube >.<

the other night I was playing Call Of Duty 4 against my friend Alex (Who I work with) and my boss (who's an ex-marine)

I liek the multiplayer on it...both online and offline...

Like Alex...he's a great sniper

my boss. he's a with a machine gun...

And me? Give me almost any gun and i'm good. i'm happy.

We we're all equal near the beginning...till we played where me and my boss were on the same team..and...we didn't know...so we were shooting each other then after like 5 kills or something it said friendly fire will not be tolerated XD

my boss though...he's good...like he's good...

fun though even offline
