This first picture isn't furry-related at all, and I'm sure people familiar with 3D modeling would laugh at its simplicity, but I was messing around with 3D Studio Max sort of for the first time, and I feel like posting pictures of this tea scene thing I ended up making.

The tea pot was a default shape thing in 3Ds Max too, so I didn't entirely make that from scratch or anything, but I did mold the tea cup and water.

I played around with 3ds Max just a bit a while back and started what I was hoping would end up being a dragon, but that never got finished, and it was long enough ago that I pretty much had to re-learn how to use 3ds Max in order to make that tea thing.

..Now if only I could figure out how to get some stupid textures on the models.

You only need to use 3Ds Max for modeling new 3D objects, and I've only been texturing on IMVU so far, but I'm really hoping to get into modeling soon. So, that's why I've been playing around with the program, yes. I dabble around with it here and there, but it's pretty overwhelming. I was really hoping I could animate that tea pot, but I got too frustrated and gave up for the day. :P
