I picked cats like the other 8 furs who voted. Thing is, I live on a farm and there’s this Belgian Malinois who camps outside my apartment door expecting me to walk her and her “sister” through the woods all the blessed time. She’s not supposed to be there, she’s supposed to stay at my landlady’s house about a third of a mile away. It drives me insane. I don’t have the capicity to entertain her to the extent that she expects. She’s relentless. I mean, I’d pick this over a vicious, territorial dog any day, but still… at least with cats you have room to pursue your own interests.  [size=78%] [/size]

Ofcourse, I almost love cats just as much. But I personally feel like good solid canines, like shepherd dogs or huskies for example, are really awesome because of how affectionate they are and how clever they can be?

I guess after giving it some more thought I prefer dogs because I can understand, or relate to them much better than cats.

Like for example, I know exactly what this. What kind of behaviour, why the dog is doing that, and ETC.

But I don't know what this is.
I get that it's some sort of dispute. But I just don't understand anything about why they're doing that beyond this...

I will say this, though: When it comes to other people's pets, I prefer dogs, especially huge dogs, over cats. They'd make great cushiony props to sleep next to.

Have you ever seen it when two guys (usually teenagers) have a beef, and each one wants to intimidate the other into backing down but neither wants to fight, so they just stand there with their chests out, trying to look tall, talking tough, and daring the other one to make the first move?

I can easily see it with dogs.

In that vadjeo I refferenced you can instantly see that the dog considered the bed as her property and wanted to reclaim it and scare the cat away.

But why are those two cats fighting!? Some sort of territorial dispute? I just don't get it!

Cats generally fight over food, territory, mates, or "I just don't like seeing your face." The video doesn't show much context to say which reason it is, but it's pretty easy to understand cats when you learn their body language too.
