Need help on finding a printer/scanner
« on: July 17, 2017, 01:00:46 AM »
My printer/scanner just broke, so now I have to get a new one before posting page 8 of Splendimals or any other art I wish to post. But... I looked on Ebay, and on their they go for over 400 bucks! ...My dad, on the other hand, seems to think I can get one for a lot cheaper then that, but I'm unsure how expensive they might be at a pawn store or a big-name store, or even other sites.

If you're only planning to print your comic, you could save several pages up and then print them at office works, a library or a friends place.

You'll save a lot of money this way and won't need to invest in a new printer, provided you're not needing to print a lot.

Sure, great idea. "Say, Mr./Mrs. Librarian? Is it alright if I scan all my fatfur "porn" on your devices?" Okay, it's not really porn, but I'd still feel kind of uncomfortable trying to scan my comics in a public area. Another problem I have is that I don't have a drivers license, so it would be my dad or mom who would have to drive me to and from the library, and my dad is already uneasy about me being a furry.

I appreciate the idea, I just don't know if it's possible with my situation.

Not sure they even look at what you're printing at most places. Plus, even if they D0 look and D0 judge, you're a customer and they're still getting their money--you're not gonna get chased out just for printing something weird.

Anoni's idea sounds plenty efficient to me, the main reason you'd need your own printer/scanner is if you need to do a whole lot of it/all the time.  (like if you have lots of homework that needs it)
