Need a fursona

Hey guys,


Only recently did I officially become a furry, I'm a little hesitant or telling my friends so if you could give me any pointer that would be amazing.


But really I'm looking for someone to create me my fursona because I cannot draw/sketch/do anything even if I tried. So where is the best place to look?

There's a post here about how to tell people about being a furry, my personal advice is just to be calm and say it's like disney characters and the like.


As for a fursona, my friend made me a sketch a while back and I haven't really used it (going to vector it when I get the chance however); it's of a female fennec but I could try to make it look more male if you'd prefer
PM me if you're interested and I can show you it, or there's some free ref sheet lineart here or also the one I used by Rarakie!

Ok thanks heaps, I'll be sure to use your advise to my mates but maybe just give it a little more time to know what I'm getting into haha. And yeh haha I'll just say I liked the movie Balto so much I decided to kinda become one of em if that makes sense
 
As far as the fursona goes for sure I'd love to see the sketch your friend made, because I don't know any contacts at all in the furry community so kinda starting out as a very small hatchling to the community. I do have plans for my fursona but I have no idea who to contact and how to even start, I would like to see myslef as a antro husky with blue iridescent ski goggles but hey atm I'm cool with anything. And I'll be sure to check out the free templates, thanks!!!!!

If you want to learn more about creating a fursona, you can just check this topic. You don't need to be able to draw well or anything like that, just be creative. If you want a picture of your 'sona, you can check if there's anybody willing to take a request from you or you can comission one.

Thanks I'll be sure to give it a crack! As far as requesting and what not where would be the best place to do it? Because I'm looking at starting up a new yt channel when I get back form my initial army training and wouldn't mind having my fursona ready for then as my channel picture. But I guess it's finding the right person for the right job

You can check for artist on sites with a lot of furry artists (like FurAffinity or DeviantArt), but you can also ask for requests here on the forums. You can either put a request on the Request subboard or search for someone who takes requests in the Art for sale/trade/free subboard, under the Artistic Stuff main board. Or if you're a little lucky even in the Artwork subboard.

Ok I understand what you're saying but new to forums entirely so kinda struggling to find what you're talk about oh god I hope I improve this forum business quick and not stay this useless

You'll get the hang of it, don't worry. For now, just scroll downward on the main forum page until you see the Artistic Stuffs board, then go in there and you should be able to find the subboards I mentioned on the top of the list displayed.

Hello and welcome, I am VoodooMax. I would say that due to all the misconceptions surrounding furries I'd say it's best if you either don't tell your friends (unless they're already a furry) or slowly ease into it.

You're welcome. I don't know if this is true but I've heard that the Amino apps's admins remove posts and images even if it's within the rules, have you had this problem? I was thinking of making an account but I don't want my posts and images removed because the admins want to be like that.

Heard of very few occasions but really nothing like that. Nothing's happened to me all the stuff I've posted or the stuff the people I've met on there. Tbh I'd give it a go and see how u feel about it there's no harm in seeing if u like it or not
