I was walking home about 30 minutes ago and I was hanging out with my friends while doing it. We had some laughs and messed around, good time.


But my friend Lee took Amaya (other friend) glasses, and handed them to me while walking home from school.


I thought they were just random glasses Lee found on the ground, but they were amayas, and I put them on just for fun. 


By then Kyle (Amaya's friend) walked over to me and yelled at me to give her glasses back.


Being tall and skinny (5'10 and 130 lbs) I was obviously scared, and I gave the glasses back as he was about to hit me.


I **censor** hate being skinny, he hit me in the stomach a few times for doing it and I didn't fight back because I knew I couldn't do anything, he was stocky, I was skinny, the hell could I do?


He noticed my legs were shaking and laughed at them while doing it as well.


I honestly hate being skinny, your so weak and light you can't hurt anyone, and don't EVER bring up working out.


You **censor** kidding me? I worked out for 4 months straight once and gained LITERALLY NO MUSCLE MASS AT ALL. And I know some skinny guys who it took YEARS for them to even look stronger.


I hate being so weak, I have a high pain tolerance though, was able to take his punches like nothing, but couldn't fight back, even if I wasn't going to get hurt that bad I didn't want to get humiliated in front of my friends any more.


I hate being skinny, everybody underestimates you, you can't put on weight, you can't put on muscle, your just out of luck.


And all you guys who are telling me to work out right now, **censor** off okay? You have no idea what it's like being super skinny and trying to gain muscle, it's like trying to beat a pro gamer when your completely new to the game itself, just **censor** off.

That sucks.  I was really skinny for my size when I was young. 6'4 and about 150.  I only started filling out in my early to mid 20s.  So I know that gaining muscles when skinny isn't really that easy.

You call these people friends in your post.  I think you need better friends than ones that go around punching you.

6'4? Damn your lucky, I'm 5'10 at 14, growth charts say that I'll be 6'3, not sure though.

I actually hate being tall.  I would like to be short.  Shorter folks seem cuddlier.  I feel awkward.

Theres tons of benefits of being tall, better reach, can easily see over crowds, you look powerful since your a head taller then most people, most people won't mess with you, you can jump higher and step over things people have to jump or climb over. The only negative things about being tall is finding clothes is hard and leg room in vehicles is small.


I'm taller than most people, I'm 5'10 at 14 and the average height for 14 is 5'4-5'5, I know what you feel, being skinny and almost half a foot taller than 75% of the people you meet is kind of weird, you probably weigh as much as most people but since your taller it spreads out you look skinny.


I go through the same stuff you are, I have massive feet for 14, size 13 men's, probably going to need a size 14 this summer, clothes are hard to find and i wear men's clothing since I'm half a foot taller than my average age height, and leg room in vehicles is scarce even for me, and it's kind of annoying when you have to look down at most people you talk to.


But being tall has way more positives than negatives, I know because I'm tall myself. (I've said that about 50 times now lol)

I don't feel tall is my personality, if that makes sense.  I like people to be open and honest.  More people are intimidated at tall people, so you don't get that.  I don't want to intimidate anyone.  I am friendly.

And clothes buying is terrible.  All the cute shirts don't fit me.  And Big & Tall stores are more for the big than the tall.  Going to the store to buy me a couple shirts is an all day venture.

I actually wear size 13 shoes now.  Well 12-13, depending on the brand.

I have always been tall, so I can't comment on if being tall or short is better as I haven't been short.  Well, except when I was a kid but by kid standards I still wasn't short.

Well I'm most likely going to be around your height when I'm fully grown, and I'm probably going to go through the same issues, so don't feel alone.

My advice? If someone attacks you, you fight back. Even if you lose, they see you're no longer one of the easiest targets. Especially if you hit them in a "sensitive" spot if you know what I mean And if it gets too real, a hard kick to the knee and they have a major problem. Put them on crutches for weeks
Size doesn't matter as much as you think it does. There are special operators who are 5 foot 4 and can literally kill professional boxers

I know I should fight back, it's just I haven't been in a fight for years, pretty recently I've been super chill with eberyone, and nobody really bullies me, teasies me, never, everyone sees me as a cool and chill guy, besides I know I'm skinny but I remembered my last fights, almost every time I fight somebody I have uncontrollable rage, even if I'm losing I would still give them everything I got, but I've learned to suppress my anger, and I don't want to let that out again, I don't want to hospitalize a person just for defending a friend, even if it is for a dumb reason.


I hope you guys understand, I've broken bones, busted lips, blacked eyes and send people crying in the past, I really don't want to unleash that Rage again, ever, I just don't want to hurt somebody that badly.

I understand. I've had some issues with anger and rage myself. However, there comes a time when fighting is the only proper option. Like WWII. Just make sure if it gets to that point, you do fight back

There's no need to be afraid, nobody will die from a few hits. Don't think about it, just punch someone.

You'll be more and more angry if you won't fight back. All this rage will just accumulate. I get that you're mostly chill, but if someone hits you then he deserves all the beating he can get. Maybe you really are afraid to hurt someone too badly, but the other guy might not give a shit about you and he'll just **censor** you up.

You'd have a good reason to avoid fights if your first reaction would be pulling out a knife to shank someone. They won't die from a broken bone or messed up face.

I was shaking because I haven't fought in years, I'm mostly passive and attempt to avoid fights at all costs.


Besides, I'm over it now, I don't really care, and yes I am that kind of person who would shank others if they try to hit me, I've done it before with pencils.
I would rather just not start fights in the first place , that guy hit me for not giving back glasses of a friend, ill just quit hanging around him, see? There's always a solution besides violence, you guys have to think out of the box.

So I'm in middle school, 8th grade, we have a month till summer, and there's this guy named [content removed],  he's in my English and health class, and TONS of people talk trash about him around school, and I can see why.


I sit behind him in English and across the room in health.


So let me start off, [content removed] talks trash about tons of people who are usually pretty OK and don't really mess with anyone, he calls them names and insults and judges them, and thinks he's better than them in almost every way.


He's an asshole, he always messes with me and the people in my class, [content removed], the girl that sits in front of [content removed], always gets her stuff knocked over, thrown off the desk, and always gets her desk moved around and gets called names by [content removed]. He's an asshole, I hear him call [content removed] a slut and a horse, it makes me want to punch him, as she didn't do anything wrong in the first place.


Hes also disrespectful and dependent, if [content removed] takes [content removed] pencil away as revenge, [content removed] will call out the teacher on it, smh, he also disrespectful the teacher by laughing at her and disobeying her orders.


This guy is just a straight up dick, I want to beat him up so bad, I'm skinny for 14 (125-130 lbs) and 5'10, he's shorter and smaller than me, only a little, but it's very noticeable,  even though I'm skinny I'm bigger than him, and can easily drill him into the ground, it's just he has lots of friends, and even though I want to stand up for the people he bullies, I just don't want to get ganged up on (probably going to get tons of hate comments saying I'm a pussy.)


I just came here to vent, you guys can post whatever.

[content removed] also taps on me to get my attention, but turns away when I look at him, he also says I'm his friend, I either ignore him or call him a faggot and walk away.


And yes, I've told my English teacher several times about [content removed]'s behavior, but he just won't stop being an asshole, even though the teacher is giving him detentions left and right everytike I call him out on what he does, so yes, I did do something about it at least.

Learn a martial art, doesn't matter if you're skinny or bulky when you have those skills.

I recommend Aikido, it's a martial art specifically designed to use your opponents strength against them. Basically, the stronger your opponent, the more you have to work with. Aikido is all about directing your opponents energy and momentum away, reflecting it, you apply very little of your own energy and can dispatch people much stronger than you without breaking a sweat (when you're a master). Another cool factor is that Aikido is very pacifistic, it stresses techniques that hurt neither you or your opponent, but still disables your opponent (like getting them in a hold where they cannot move, but are not injured in the hold).
