Fursuit makers and where to get supplies

Hey everyone!


So, I've been thinking about who will make my Fursonas into suits. If you look at my post on the art page or at my profile photo you will see what they all look like. So... Because I've never make a suit before I would prefer to have my three sonas made by someone else. So for Khaise I'm thinking of saving up to get her made/commissioned by Sparkycando, But I don't know who would be the best to ask/talk to for the other two.

Ok, so I live in Australia and I really would like to try and make some fursuit parts. But, I have no idea where to get ANY supplies from. Where do I get them from? And does anyone know where I can find some good tutorials fro making stuff?

I'm in Australia too and I make suits!


1) You can either make the suit for yourself (I see that you don't though, but if you want to save money, do it) or you can commission from any other fursuit maker. Just type 'fursuit maker' into google and you're ought to find something that you like! Heck, you can commission from me if you would like (I do do them).


2) You can get fursuit supplies from many places. What supplies are you seeking?
Fur - Spotlight sells fur, however I hate their range as it's pricy and kept in horrible conditions. I buy mine from a small shop called 'My Hung Fabrics'. They have a few other shops around Sydney, if you are interested.
Foam - Clark's Rubber. Other than that, I really don't know. I don't get it from there though. I buy thin camping mattresses and cut them open.

Thanks for the website and don't worry, I HATE spotlight too. Lincraft is better, but I don't think they sell fur... meh. I'll have a look around.

Whoa! Thats sick as man! those suits are awesome!
ALSO! SYDNEEEY! Although I board at a school over in the Southern Highlands.
