There's a first time for everything?
« on: February 07, 2017, 02:32:34 PM »
Hi all!

I've been on this forum for less than a week, but I do have sooo many sleeper ideas. Some of them are plain silly or even stupid, others are quite smart and unusual.

Unfortunately, this one is from the bowels of my paper bin.

We've had our chars for long enough, a lot of us have back stories or even properly designed worlds. But what if we start fresh? It's just a game, right? What I am proposing is time-limited RP, where all of the participants would start as humans and will go through furry (scalie, magic creature, etc) transformation. There, I said it aloud. We'll see if it goes just like any other TF fiction -- or worse. We may have fun, some soul searching may happen as well.

In short:
1. The transformation may be magical, technological in nature, or come from completely unknown source ("the aliens done this to me", "I woke up like this", ect etc) -- but not all of them at the same time. Please vote one or propose a different option.
2. It srsly needs to be time-limited as it will get boring at some point, and as a beginner GM I really care.
3. We'll start when if at least 4 people state their interest.

All that's left is:

Name:
Species to become:
Age:
Gender:
Weight (Optional):
Height (Optional):
Personality:
Background (Optional):

You had me at transformation. I really don't get the whole "time limit" thing, though.

So...who's going to administer the tf? You, the players, or...a third party?

Hello, Shin Majin!

The important part for now is to decide the source of the said TFs (what's your opinion btw?), then we'll see to the details.

I'm open to anything at this point, and tbh I had no idea if I'd get any replies! Will also be glad to have any kind of help from a more experienced Player!

Ah? If I had to choose, I'd say that magic is best. Either a curse, or just strange magical radiation or something.

Hmm.. Okay, that's one for magic curse! Just a bunch of furries being cursed at their little con held in an old manor for some reason? :P

In that setting, someone obvious will have to play the evil spellcaster's role -- which I can be.

So, anyone else likes the idea, mm?..

Just a possibility. I can think of some nicer settings, guess just wanted to keep it more realistic!

Realism's probably a lost cause, given the subject matter.
