As the title states, does anybody here listen to new age music? It isn't the only thing I listen to, but I do have an appreciation for it. No other music can get me in such a serene and relaxed state. Give me some synthesizers and some calming background sounds in the track and I will just curl up, go into my Zen zone, and possibly fall asleep.

Maybe to kick off the thread, here are a few of my favorites:

YES. I absolutely adore New Age. In fact, I have a sign above my window (on the inside of my room) that marked the New Age section at the local Tower Records. When they went out of business, they said we could take the signs.

But yes. I am in love with New Age as a whole.

I'm a fan of Diane Arkenstone and llewellyn. Stereotypical though it may sound, they're my favorites. I do love a slew of other artists too, but it's harder to track since they're mostly random on internet radio, like Sirius.

Arkenstone's Aquaria and Llewellyn's Journey to Atlantis really captured me. I also adore just about ANY native american flute music, and even better tribal music incorporating their other instruments.

I adore this kidn of music. I more lean towards cinematic or movie trailer music, but I love Loreena Mckennitt and the like, my brother is showing me a few artists he likes that have similar music.
I also love Diane Arkenstone, but i haven't been able to hear much of her music yet.
