Furry + Sci-fi + Steampunk + Tribal = ???

Looking at the typical body of furry races, several challenges to the development of technology are presented in the anatomy of the race. Ears, muzzles, fur, claws, tails, wings, and digigrade legs stand out as the most predominate features that could cause trouble if tech was not adapted properly for the race.

Zippers and velcro would not mix well with fur, touch screens would have to contend with sharp claws, and furniture would have to avoid tails and wings.

What are some of the adaptations you see technology taking through the ages in order to conform to furry races? What problems would a human face when suddenly having to deal with technology built around a furry race? How advanced could the technology of a furry race get with the restrictions their body presents to technology?
