Hmm ive heard of Enter Shakira, There pretty awesome. And loads of people knew of dragon force before GH3, the only reason it was actually put on GH3 is cuz so many people modded it onto there ps2's.

I havn't heard of many underground bands..
But wasn't DragonForce on GH3 when it came out?

not really sure about their status in the US.. but maybe Hundred Reasons?

(but a lot of american bands are anti-famous here, like Finger eleven, unwritten law, avenged sevenfold, system of a down and such, practically unkown to the mainstream here)
