Hi, I was wondering is it cheaper to make your own fursuit or just buy it? I plan to make a very minimal suit that consists only of Head, Torso, Paws, and maybe boots im not sure about that part. ThanksS

It is cheaper to make your own (my fullsuit bat cost me about 300$ including the head blank and whatnot, and my recent toony fullsuit cost around 250$, with more expensive fur) however the time it takes to make one makes up for the cost. It took me 7 months to finish my bat (which was my first fursuit) but my second one took me about 2 months.

Make your own.
I only spent about 70$ on my partial but it's only because I already had foam and hot glue etc.
However, if you aren't planning to put all the effort into making one, then commission for one.
