Sorry, it was Valley of the Mist, and I thought you were one of the original players there, but basically, the world had experienced the emergence of dragons during the dark ages, which caused the world to crack all around, creating a world of Valleys consumed by mists. These mists make traveling outside of one of the various kingdoms or major settlements severely dangerous as paths forged throughout the Valley are extremely narrow and fraught with many flying creatures that emerged because of the Dragons' war that terraformed the world.
The RP takes place after a major industrial breakthrough as society managed to weaponize alchemical formulas. For instance, special musket balls can be bought that explode or immediately freeze a small area, etc. It basically eliminated the need to bring alchemists around, and made them filthy rich. Also, Mages were able to temporarily enchant weapons (due to limits materials can hold). Non-magicals had developed steam-based machines which made transportation and resource harvesting easier, though transportation is normally used by the rich as air ships are rare and expensive. Their inventions also included armour, weapons and prosthesis. Basically, the ruler of one of the kingdoms summons are willing adventurers to seek out an ancient artifact. However, unlike the artifacts that are normally asked of adventurers, this one is of special interest.

Oh yes, I found one in my Fantasy line-up. It takes place as humans finally develop steampunk-ish technology to combat creatures and to make life a bit easier. It's called Industrial Fantasy. At this point in time, everything is still in the experimental stage, roughly 10 years since the technology became known. No modes of transportation exist (that work anyways), and weapons/armour are still fairly expensive (for quality ones).
