Well, I don't know what it is, but every forum has a limit on how many responses can be posted in a thread before it automatically locks.

It's probably super high though. Like 999999999 posts or something. I doubt we will ever reach it.

Cool. My kindle isn't charging now. An I could get high off of the smell coming out of the charger port. That and a metal piece fell out of it.

thats tough, something similar with my iPhone
on slow charging that is
takes over 5 hours and a bit of wiggling of power cable to charge
(no burnt smell yet) - something loose inside

I'm not good with electronics, don't know on charging suggestion

Hmm, your charge port may have been damaged somehow. Either that or it's a software error that's not displaying your charge correctly. Try restarting the kindle and see if it charges correctly.

Probably not, but its worth a try. The burnt smell could just mean the kindle is overheating right now.

If your charge port is damaged and burnt, you will probably just have to ask for a replacement device.
