Need some halp drawing my species

Hi there  . I'm a friendly fur over here and some artistic help would be very much appreciated 

From the topic title you've probably guessed what it's about  I thought up a species and I need some help drawing them. I should probably talk about the species now (I don't really have a name for them yet) 

They're are large 8ft tall animals that are half plant and half big cat. Their fur is very shaggy and camouflaged to blend in with grass.

Depending on the area they live in they can have local flowers and plants in their fur. For example if one of them lived near a marsh or river they could have cattails growing from their backs or if they lived in a forest where honeysuckle is a common plant then honeysuckle would start to grown on them. Any plants that grown on them are usually mostly concentrated on their backs but aren't limited to it.

Something that they all have however are tails that are as long as their bodies. Their tails get thinner to the tip with 3 bright red feathers on the end.

Oh! Sounds fun! I'm not a digital artist...heck I'm not even an artist, but this does sound interesting. What do they usually look like? Scary, creepy, innocent, or does it depend on the location?

In my head they all look goofy and innocent  Like big shaggy cats with sleepy smiles cause they sleep through the day for warmth

Ah. That makes sense! that sounds kinda cute and innocent really.

I know right?  how I came up with them was I was writing a short story where giant grass cats would sleep in large grassy meadows where they were completely camouflaged. Then whenever an unsuspecting traveler walk through and accidentally wakes one up they knock them out with the sleep spores in their lungs and snuggle them for warmth

I'm having trouble with this but I'm sure I can get it down. By like the end of next week hopefully. Maybe even the weekend. We will see. And If you think of anything that would be neat to add try it. I'm gonna try a few things. }:>

Oh ok  take your time though. No hurry  for one of them could you give em some little pink or blue flowers in their fur?

Um. I didn't realize that Nixon asked first. When I click on a thread I have this habit of skipping replies and posting before I actually read anything. Uh, Nixon wouldn't mind if I wanted to draw too, right?? Is this a one person thing...?

I just realized I forgot to mention I was planning on posting them on the forum as an open species for other people to take a look at and maybe even make oc's if they'd like. So 2 different artists is definitely ok
