The other soldiers present all fired their weapons - fully-automatic. The corridor became flooded with a storm pf plasma bolts fired from automatic Storm Rifles.

"Yeah," Ketorr chuckled. "John Reznov. Your little brother." He sit John down on the counter. John reached over, trying to grab at Aylina. "I think he wants to say hi," Ketorr chuckled.

"Is someone trying to get ahold of you, or is that something else flashing on your belt?" Viktor asked, pointing out the faint glint he noticed.

Drake led Amie to their bedroom, where he would try and lay her down on her back before digging around in the rack of movies looking for something to watch with her. "Before the movie gets underway... do you want me to bring you something to eat or drink?" he asked her.
"It's not the twins I worry about, Fawn," Kyle sighed. "I won't lie - the Marauder Corps is in a precarious situation. We have Zaarin's Empire probing us, the Romulan Star Empire and their Empress causing trouble, the Tal Shiar and Admiral Arai have been power-playing recently, rebels in UNSC space are getting stronger, and we have unidentified transmissions coming from somewhere, but every ship I send out there never returns. It doesn't take a genius to figure out something big is coming... and if those transmissions are who I think they are, this galaxy will have to come together in the biggest alliance since the Marauder War."
*** Tropical Rift, Belsavis ***
"If there were droids around this area," Kyle whispered, "We'd be hearing about it by now. But something
is in there - of that I am certain. Stay close." Kyle crept inside, moving down the halls with his rifle raised, finding nothing but his own twitchiness to contend with. Every now and then, he would stop, as though he heard something, then quickly take cover, expecting an attack that never came. This went on for a good hour or two until they came to a massive antechamber, the far wall being marked with a familiar symbol:

Kyle held his rifle steady, pointed at the clone trooper, as a single line went through his head, spoken by a tyrant during his rise to power:
"Execute Order Sixty-Six..."
Kyle crept up to within three feet of the soldier, where it became apparent he was still alive as he spoke, "I know your face...
Lokahviing."
"How are you still alive?" Kyle asked.
"I wish I knew," the soldier coughed. He weakly tossed the pyramidal device to Kyle. "I assumed you were here for this... it... must not fall... into
his hands."
Kyle's eyes widened subtly. "Thanaton..." he muttered.
"He wants the secrets of Darth Nox... contained in that holocron. Take it. Get out of here. Leave, while you still can... before he comes back," the soldier said.
