I'm the same way when I have a cold.

I traveled up to North Carolina, which was two days away from home. As you may or may not know, a man named Samuel Conway (Uncle Kage) lives in North Carolina. He said "You cannot sling a dead cat without seeing a furry in North Carolina". We arrived there and a few days later I went to a camp where they made items. One of those were tails. I bought one and sat by the creek taking in the beautiful scenery. While sitting there I noticed two to three boys go by with these tails on. I automatically assumed they were furries. I got up and was going to the lunch hall when a woman went by and said she liked it. I told her thanks and she said she had a husky tail. I asked her if she was a furry and she replied yes. I was happy to meet other furs in person because it gave me a sense of confidence. I went to my next class and sat down. The other boys started arriving and took notice of my tail. They asked me why I had it on. I told them that I bought it because it was interesting. They looked at me and asked ne if I was a furry. I hesitantly replied yes and they stared at me and giggled a little. They were talking about it for the rest of the class and the week. My brother had a class with a teacher and a student who were bronies. He was talking to the boy when he said "yeah I think my little pony is cool but furries just freak me out". My brother replied
"I'm sorry if I scared you" He stared at him and they got along well putting alongside their fandoms and befriending each other.

I'm pretty shy so things do tend to get awkward from time to time. Possum, I want you and everyone else to promise me something. I want to come back with lots of hugs and snuggles. I want you guys to think about me too, incase I get injured

So far no one around me knows I'm a fur, hasn't come up either.
They do know I love furry creatures, my room full of posters, figures, and plushies of animals.
