It makes me sad too. Unfortunately for me I have a very conservative family. It was bad enough telling them that I was bisexual... I just don't want the criticism. I mean I told them once (or at least tried to) that I felt closer to tigers than I do to people and they just kinda brushed it off like it didn't matter. It's the hard knock life.

Them brushing it off is a good thing. I have an ultra conservative family too, and they don't care about my strong connection. I might use it to someday break the therian ice.

We are so few and far between. But maybe we'll meet up someday. I know there is the occasional group spread across the nation, just never bothered to look into it because I couldn't go.
