Similar from where I live. All the rain showers coming from the Pacific Ocean, pushing Northwest, they can't get passed the Cascades so where I live in the western part of Washington gets lots of rain at times warmer temperatures, while the eastern half of Washington is drier and colder in winter or hotter in spring
