Proto, I think that if any of US called and told the police that someone with severe anxiety and paranoia, being states away, either wouldn't be taken seriously....  or would be taken too seriously...


If I could, I would drive out there too though...  My job kinda binds me in place some days...

That made me really sad...  It really is a terrifying thing to not be able to discern between physical reality and the "mind's reality."  I've had bouts of that happen to me, but not anywhere near that caliber...  :'(

When it's a negative fantasy, yes. Like A Beautiful Mind. That movie really let you see what it's like living with that. It can be scary. I spend most of time in my world in my head, but I can differentiate between that and reality. Losing that border can be scary, I'm sure.

A Beautiful Mind was the movie that came to mind for me as well, Proto...  I've actually had episodes when I was living in Indiana (around 17-18)  where I couldn't actually tell waking nightmares from the world around me...  I have a slight clue, but to constantly feel that must be terrifying.

Sometimes when I do character development I find myself becoming the character. Thats why theres some characters I abandoned
