its so much better the getting something say 11am-7pm cuz that waste the whole day but i get to go in at 6am and leave at 2pm and still have the rest of the afternoon

I hate retail for the stupid questions people ask, but I also love it for the snarky responses you can make depending on where you work. I taught the manager here how to sound really pleasant but be a total a-hole at the same time. At the gas station, one guy accused me of turning down the gas pump pressure so it pumped his gas really slowly. I told him "You caught me. Let me just turn this knob that we have back here for every individual pump so we can turn down pump pressure and irritate random people, now that you know our secret." Reached below the counter, looked confused. "Oh. It looks like we don't have those. More than likely because they don't exist. I'm sure your gas is done pumping by now. Have a nice day." Genuinely fake smile.

lucky we cant be rude to the customers face but as soon as they leave we just shred them apart quietly so no one can hear how evil everyone that works at mcdonald's really is
