It's 0C, or 32F. Gets colder sometimes but not by much. When we hit -10C it's starting to get bad

It's actually not "warm" for us, but that sounds a good below average during the summer.

Well I can't read Fahrenheit, had to Google it. Kelvin is good, we should be using that. 0 degrees in the summer sounds not fun at all, what do you get on average in winter?

That is cold, even for me
The coldest I had to endure was 9 F (-12 C) during the winter storm in 2012, couldn't drive as we had freezing rain that winter (my car at the time had a thick sheet of ice on the windows) 

Was it fun
my family had a good snowball fight
some of the neighbors where sledding downhill

Coldest here was was when I was a kid. It hit like -24F. I don't remember the exact temperature, but after three breathes you had to rub your nostrils together to use friction to dethaw your airway. It hurt to breathe. There's a reason I remember how cold it was that day quite vividly. O.o

We got colder than -20C, but not this year, about 6 or 7 years ago. Not for long fortunately. I just remember it hurt a bit if you had anything exposed. I wasn't a furry yet, didn't have the fur to protect me.
(I still don't have it... But I at least can imagine it now, it gets but warmer )

The COLDEST it ever got here was -51F in the area of Antero Reservoir. Tied for coldest temperature ever recorded. Probably why everyone out here owns a space heater that could heat a living room and they put it in their bedroom.

Now that's cold... The coldest one ever recorded was more like -130F though... You can pee ice in that probably. And then get the peeing part cut off cuz it's frozen solid

That makes sense Proto, 9F is still coldest for me so far.
Too bad my heater broke this winter just when I needed the most, stores where out for weeks, had to use my bed sheets to stay warm in front of the laptop

Oh was it? Teach me to go off some news story. Like they wouldn't use "technically it is tied with coldest temperature ever recorded, if you use 'coldest temperature ever recorded in the same state that we're reporting on' as a qualifier."

Yeah well outer space is bit colder still, but not many people go there so it doesn't count.

Hey, fun facts about the Fahrenheit scale:
1. Dude was sick when he checked his temperature and that's why healthy body is not 100F but like 96 (not sure)
2. 0 F is the lowest temperature measured in Gdansk, Poland, where he was living at the time. Or so I heard.
