I think where mine just blossomed out is when I thought about "Well, they need to move the sectors and activate the great distortion. But how?" It's always the how or the why that expand it. How to explain ... I couldn't just have them "Oh look. Here's the switch. Throw that, and we're done. So that's finished." It's too abrupt. Why was it there? It's world changing and extremely important - wouldn't there be something in place to guard and protect it?" And the guardians were born. But then, they have to find out about the switch in the first place. How do they do that?

If all that makes sense. X.x I can't tell you how exciting it is to be on the other end of watching a world born with unique characters and their story. I love seeing a world being created, seeing how more is added. *nuzzles Firox* It means a lot to hear that, firox. It's people enjoying the stories that keeps you going.

Playing with the idea of some spirits being titled Guardians in my story - but they'd be along the same lines as town guards in my current notes. Not sure if I want weapons or not - I have ways I can take it if they do or don't exist in the place I'm making.

Eee! Ceci! *boops his favorite mousey* I've missed you! *ears did perk up at the word "petting" and wagged his tail* That's one of the most fun, when you're not sure if there will be weapons. Jadefire was created for why Gem named her Jade. Since it's a rock with glowing red veins, it explodes when struck. So now the Cutters have a stranglehold on Jadefire weapons. Eventually the guardians of the city might force a back story, or becoming a large part of it! Jack became part of the team in my book, and he started out as a reference to Jack Be Nimble.
