(since no one wants to come, will have some fun, feel free to join in) 
*Vay greets all awake*
*as Arval and I get up, we "play battle" with each other*
*Kev and Matt join in*
*as soon as the two join in, we become a bit more gentle from the earlier rougher playing*
*as both small ones do their small tackles on me, I 'falls over' as along with Arval all catch me, I pretend to struggle and try to escape, while giggling*
"that tickles!! quits it!! quits it!!"
*the other four make chocolate chip cookies with Vay, Linette, and Firox*
Firox: "before measuring, we let the butter out in a bowl so it softens for easier mixing"
*all four watch carefully, even getting a chance to try it*
Vay: "first we measure the flour, the sugar, the brown sugar, we make sure to level them off with a blunt knife"
*shows them all how to, even lets the four get messy as they try it*
Linette: "once the butter and flour sugary mix has been well blended, last is the fun part, we add lots and lots of chocolate chips at the last moment, remember not to over mix it,, we can also substitute chocolate chips with the M&M's"
*each of us make a nice big batch, taking time to giggle at the silly learning mistakes, even playfully tapping each nose with the floury mix for fun times*
*in the mean time, Jyo comes over and scoops all the cookie dough into cookie sheets for baking, takes time to nom a cookie dough while watching*
*after 30 minutes of silliness and fun, Vay suggests*
"lets show you how to make sugar cookies too, these are fun, keep shape,, and are perfect for decorating too"
Firox "as with chocolate chip cookies, first we let the butter soften, as we measure out the ingredients, the sugar cookies are a bit different, we add 1 cup of sugar, 3 cups of flour, 1 egg, and 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and finally 1 teaspoon of vanilla"
*all three watch as the four younger ones do measuring*
Vay: "first we mix dry ingredients with a sifter, then add the wet ingredients on top, and mix... now if the dough is too wet we add a little flour, if the dough is too dry like mine add a little water and keep mixing"
Linette: "once ready, we can mold the cookies into couple of shapes, each had enough for about 8 cookies"
*all four giggling, making Vee head shapes*
*Jyo sets them all aside*
*Vay smiles and grins* "I know, lets make one more batch, someone here will love"
*Vay whispers to Linette, causing her to smile and squeal with joy inside, knocking down the flour with the fast wagging tail... good thing Firox had closed the bag so mostly none fell out*
Vay: "first we need the dry ingredients, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and some salt"
Linette with the fast wagging tail: "next up is the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar, we set it aside to mix the wet ingredients first"
Firox: "once we got all into the bowls, next up we mix in a teaspoon of vanilla, and one egg, we mix it all together"
Linette still fast tail wags: "next up we add my favorite ingredient, we add lots and lots of peanut butter and we mix into the dry ingredients first until it blends, and mix in the wet ingredients"
*all have fun time mixing, learning, and even having a chance to throw some flour, or get us covered with peanut butter*
*after 30 minutes of play - they last show the four younger ones how to roll the cookie mixture into small dough balls for baking*
*as Kev, and Matt tackles both Arval and myself - Firox is showing all the fun part of being a Flarey, baking all the cookies at once, soon the den fills with tasty aroma of cookies baking*
