The Snack Den

*Kev to me* "can we go too?"


*I nod, wait for both to climb on board, ask ?*
"would you like to come, or wait in the blanket?"
*as we wait for answer*


*as ? knows, its just a quick step outside the den, Chinese restaurant across from bakery*

I'll come *jumps onto back and relaxes*

*as I make sure both are hanging on*


*at Chinese restaurant*
*as we wait to order, the chef gives Kev, Matt, and ? a fortune cookie, take out the paper inside*


*before I order, I ask ?...* "anything you like?"
*as I stand in a way so all can see the pictures on the menu*
*of course items such as fried rice, various spicy meats, sesame chicken, egg rolls, crab rangoon, pork buns, dumplings*


*I order first for everyone in the den, as I know what all likes, giving time for all 3 to look at the menu*

orange chicken sounds good  *noms some of the cookie*

*two ask nicely for the sesame chicken*


*chef takes the order as I stand next to kitchen so ?, Kev, and Matt can watch the chefs cook*
*the one taking order next gives each a flan-like dessert made from Green Tea and a edible chocolate chip cookie spoon - to Kev, Matt, and ?*
"give it a try, its good"
*both give thanks start to eat it*


*food takes about 20 minutes to be cooked*
*about 10 minutes to be presented on the plates, put inside a styrofoam container for carrying, write the name of each Vee on top to know who's is who*

*happily smells the food as we keep the contrainers*

"you two lucky, all you get to carry is a fortune cookie while eating it, I carry rest"
*I giggle as I pick up the rest with mah tail, of course the den walk is short, I take time to visit Sylvee and ! (I know we haven't seen them in so long) to give each a plate they like, and an extra order of spring rolls to each, make sure to give time for Kev, Matt, and ? to greet and wave before taking off*
"enjoy them" *I wave*

*sylvee and ! happily smiles and thanks ya for the tasty food*


*jumps down once at the den, ready to eat*

*Kev and Matt follow ?'s example, leap down*
*Vay helps by taking off the four remaining bags from my tail, and set them on the counter, luckily its all labeled so I get to pass ?'s first*


*orange chicken it requested, along side an order of spring rolls and crab rangoon, two egg rolls, some sweet sour sauce for dipping*
"enjoy it ?, you deserves it"


*Linette grabs her favorite, Mongolian Beef with steamed rice and I pass her a large order of spring rolls, and two egg rolls, also sits with all six so they can eat, I grab two large orders of sesame chicken, I know its too much for one, for all six sharing should be plenty, they start eating - also grabbed Zoran's meal*


*rest wait their turn for their favorite main meal*
*and yep, I grab all an order of spring rolls and crab rangoon and two egg rolls, and either sweet sour sauce or a spicy mustard*

*I sit down next to ?, and Jyo joined us*
*its favorite is the old fashioned Chicken Teriyaki on fried rise, and some Mongolian Beef on side... we can see that it took off all the spicy chili flakes, good thing they kept them whole for easier 'picking'* 


*I giggle and tell the kitty* "can't stand the heat?"
*it licks my nose and just nods before eating*   


*this time to keep it "Chinese like" Vay serves everyone sweet Green Tea for drinking... asks ? if it*
"would you like Green Tea or Lemon Iced Tea?"

lemon please *eats a little more*

*Vay passes the lemon iced tea to ?, in its drinking cup with tight lid, and straw*


*I try to put a chili flake on top of a piece of beef that Jyo about to nom, it notices, at the last possible second with psychic shoves the beef into my maw, as I chew thinking I got some of my favorite, soon I start to feel the heat*


*Jyo taps ?'s shoulder and points at me, as I drink fast the green tea*
*breathing and panting*

*giggles a little as I watch*    *then drinks my own drink*

*catching breath, as the heat goes away as I start to recover*
*then again was my fault for trying to get another eat something spicy*


*Jyo taps ?'s shoulder again* "what can I get you from the ice cream shop? an ice cream cone, a banana split, an ice cream sandwich, a brownie bowl?"


*as I ask the other six, and rest in the den*
