After having a rather terrible day he decided he wanted to buy a scratchcard just because he felt somewhat lucky and thought nothing else could go wrong today. After doing so he started to scratch away at this feeble 2 inch by 5 inch piece of card that could just as well change his life. After scratching away 2 of the 3 slots, he realized he had 2 matches. His heart races as he starts the 3 slot, slowly he scratched away one piece, then another and another until. A third match. He couldn't believe it. He knew his life will completely change from this moment. He knew he could do anything. He knew he could be free, free to do what he wanted to do. He knew he could have a good life and that was exactly what was going to do. He got in his car and started on his way home. Half way home he skipped a traffic light, oblivious to almost everything because of the overwhelming joy he's experiencing from this life changing event. Little did he know, this was not the only life changing event that was to occur today. After skipping the red light he was immediately T-boned by a 40 ton semi truck. A few minutes had past. His eyes opened, looking out of the destroyed window of his crumpled, overturned car to see the scratchcard that jumped from his hand after impact. It was just laying there. A tiny piece of card that had the potential to change any ones life forever. He reached out for it with all his strength, with his last breath, he could almost touch it! Only to see it swallowed by nature. Taken away by the wind. A single tear rolled down his face as he drifted in to an ever lasting slumber.
