Its posible to be allergic to golf, however imposible to tell because it will most likely kill you before you know.

legend says that golf was invented by Scottish archers who got bored
It even got banned because it as all the archers would do all day
the word "Golf" is supposedly from the Scots word "goulf" which means "to strike"
The idea that Golf is an acronym is false as acronyms are rather new in the English language compared to the supposed origin of golf around 1457

Scotts man is an acronym for September Can Only Take Ten Sizzleups  Much Aparaleled Nasupiants.


And I guess "Goulf" is prolly right, cause they were striking about not wanting to be archer men. Iz my guess.  T_T
