You know how in that one part in Portal, near the end GLaDOS claims that if you lie down with The Device next to you a party associate will come pick you up? I just found the party associate in my Portal files.

I found that too and was quite shocked and was like "Huh? does this actually happen!"

Turns out though, Valve edited the ending of portal 1 to include the party associate in order to allow the story of portal 2 to make sense. So finish portal one and you will hear that audio file play :3
