They are, but sometimes they digress too much or too long from the necessary material, thus derailing the entire point of the class. My Junior High was reputably bad about this.

I agree in both regards. I didn't meet a single other person who was a fan of Dragons such as I am at that school, most ironically. Because there were a lot of Fantasy fans.

Seriously right? I was completely blown away when every person I asked about the subject said "nah, I prefer Wizards." Or, " 'm so-so with Dragons, I like Elves better." Stuff like that just kinda took me aback. And that school was the one where I was completely bashed for being a fur... The school that drove me to quit the fandom for a while.

Good thing that hellhole school is being shut down for sucking so much!
