Jayme if you work hard and believe harder then you can overcome anything. The doc can't tell you whether you need a cane forever or not, only you can...even if it is too dangerous not to use a cane there are lots of ways to make the best of it :3

He likes the classy old gentleman look (at 19 too) I think hes trying to remain optimistic, because hes knackered with his tai kwondo if his leg really is bad.

It's true, I was told that I might have to walk with a cane for the rest of my life when I got in a car accident last year but here I am, free to walk!

Doctors are there to help you stay alive and healthy, they are not there to tell you what your life was, what it is or what it is going to be....^_^ so yes, the cane is probably a good idea but don't assume that you'll need one forever just because the doc said....I mean really look how young you are, Jayme! Docs aren't geniouses.
