Assualt of a civilan is only a misdemeanor, you can only get a year in jail at the most, assualt of a fedral agent can net you up to 10 years if the jury doesnt like you.
i don't know, i've been bullied by cops and a friend got assaulted by a cop, the cop got off free :/

ah yes, because civilians have no rights nor respect, your job adds those 9 years. where is the balance, where is the equality... its like saying "sorry that he assaulted you, beat you to a pulp and nearly tore out your intestines, but it turns out your not a federal agent, you cant press charges or get any kind of insurance"
