Mah laptop! It works really well for even Fallout: New Vegas when I'm bored inbetween Maya and Bryce magics.

*Hugs lappy* Yea I know, I still need to get a desktop computer. I was thinking a hex-core next round, but I wanted to wait until it's "properly mastered" before jumping in. I remember how Dell sold us an XPS 400 and it came with an experimental dual-core, which ended up being fairly useless.

That's a very sensible idea. Remind me how many "hex" is? 6? 12?

Hex ish 6, I have no idea what 12 is but I'm sure we'll figure out these weird polygons in like 4 years when the 14 core super max ultra 3000 whatever Intel-Supremo comes out

I read in a Computer magazine that the way forward is more CPUs, not more cores. There's already a commercial motherboard (that costs a bomb) out that can hold something amazing like 6 GPUs, 24GB of ram and TWO CPUS!!
