I think Crime Scene Investigator sounds better. It sounds like more of a serious job.

It was just a joke but of course CoCo lives in England so that's what the job would be called for him.
CSI does sound a bit more serious though.

Well in the UK they call them Scene of Crime Officer's or Soco for short

In the USA they call them Crime Scene Investigator's or CSI's for short
