Well I read an article on a gaming website and in late 2007 there was a fully working port made already completed by Rare and Activision for the Live Arcade but the Japanese owner of Nintendo has a contract with Activision and made enough threat to them in the matter to force the game to not be published as the deal was that Wii would also have a port made, but he did not like the idea of the Xbox getting it too... so greed was the killer here :S
