[ST-84 Sahelanthropus]

Ted looks at the pill suspiciously. "On one hand, he could be telling the truth, and this could save me and my comrades. On the other hand, he could be lying, and it will kill us, or worse, accelerate the change and/or make it permanent..." Ted thought, and walks past John and Tom, silently giving them a sign not to take the pill right now. "Mike, take a look at this pill, check for poisons or mutagens." Ted whispers to Mike, giving him the pill he got from Chrono.

Frank walks to White. "I don't like that guy, I mean, he just comes here and gives us some medicine without asking for a price. What do you think?"

Chrono comes back with a few more pills and then hands them to the rest of the group. He sits down and goes to sleep, his changes start to occour around his eye, but then it glows. An outline of the pill is seen in his non-human eye, and then the changes revert back to the eye, which turns back into a cross between a human and reptilian eye.

*Stares into Chrono's eyes*

"Well, if you were monitoring our benefactor as he slept, you would notice that changes began to manifest around and possibly in his eye, then reverted shortly after, thanks to this chem." Mike said, giving the others the approval to take the pill. "Hold on a second, all of you. His drugs were probably the real deal, but the ones he just gave away must be poisoned or something. Mike, I want you to conduct an actual test on the drugs themselves!" Ted said. "You'll risk undergoing further changes as I test these samples, it might take a while." Mike said, taking the pills back from the others and placing them on a chem-lab table. "I can wait..." Ted said, walking off to an overlook of an old, ruined town nearby.

*Runs to the corner and takes out a glass of milk*

Shiro came in and sent his Bloodhawk to pick up Tyla and bring her back.

Chrono woke up and looked around. "Wait, why are you guys still mutated, didn't you take the pill?"

"Ted wants me to conduct more tests on your chem... I'm sorry if I sound distrusting, but he's the boss here, and I can hardly refuse his order. Have you seen the stuff Raiders hang in their camps?" Mike said.

"Yea, I've fought and killed Raiders when they saw my packa... you'd be surprised how many of them forget the importance of cover..."

*Hugs the bloodhawk*

"Ted's Raiders are from D.C., but they moved to Chicago, Ted said the Deathclaws there aren't pansies like in D.C., and make for better Raider training targets... his current situation is sad, however ironic."

Chrono sighed "Well, if it wasn't for the pill, i'd be a deathclaw right now... its just, kinda odd how some of them actually stop in their tracks just when I look at them... I don't know if they're female or something about me seems dangerous to them" Chrono took the chinese assault rifle out of his jacket, cleaned it, then slid it back in the holster.

"How fast does this work?" Tom said, looking at the pill. "Whatever, just pop the dang thing!" John said, taking his pill and slowly looking less like a Mirelurk. "Uh, I better get my uniform!" John dashed for the tent and zipped the door closed. Soon after, he emerges as his Human self wearing his combat-mechanic armor.

Ted sees John as a Human, who seems to be in between celebration and regret in his change back, then turns back to look away. "I still don't trust this Chrono guy... something about him gives me bad vibes." Ted said to himself.

The only thing that seems off about Chrono is his right mutated eye, which seems to peer past the flesh and towards the spirit when you look directly at the pupil. "Something wrong Ted?"
