well it's a genetically altered super human in the armor, so it makes sense (the leg's armor is a lot thicker on the outside, with an undermesh supporting that from the inside, so the leg goes in the mesh, not the bulky plates

*makes that face and picks up john by the collar with a power fist and is ready to catapult punch him*
