the passage of linear time is just one theory. You don't have to believe it.

but basically it's the theory that everything in time is one event after the other, in a line, meaning we therefore cannot change an event, or the order of events, in time.

i was born in the Netherlands (same as hollland) moved away cause it was cold. and NOW im sitting here complaining about the heat and wishing that i was some where in the Netherlands with all my relatives. mmm and what if linear time doesnt exist but is only a loop that means its TRI linear time, and all we do is bounce backwards and forwards along the line never actually accomplishing anything significant .And Schrodinger theory about the cat and the box is hurting my brain, i was thinking about all the factors you could introduce to the experiment and theory.

here's a thought, what if time were infinite?

or, the question we came up with in class: If you lived for an eternity, and had the means to write forever (in a book with an infinite number of pages), and you wrote one a year, on your birthday, about one day (on your first birthday, you write about you first day, on your second, your second, etc.), Will you ever eventually write about your whole life (every day you are alive)?

arghhh confusing does he write one book per year or one page?.

and there is basically a simple answer to "will we invent time travel in the future" except its kind of a paradox. the answer technically should be no because knowing the main populous of the world they want to improve themselves or there life. so if there where time travel we would've most probably go back and give the past technological advances. would we notice the change, has it happened already, and will we except the laws of time (by NOT meddling with them. With the exception of doctor who ) or try to bend them or make them flexible?????

^^ Hmm, interesting question/paradox. Whilst you have a never-ending amount of days to write about, despite only writing one day of your life down in a year, due to the in-divisible nature of infinity you end up with a never-ending amount of chances to write something down...In this example the division (amount of days to write about / 360 = amount of days wrote about) is equal to the total amount of days to write about, thereby meaning that you could write about you whole life...in theory.
Of course, due to the odd nature of combining time with infinity it is also possible to have the time to write about days that you have yet to experience!

o i get it now. and it also would depend  on what you did where you lived and if there weren't enough probabilities for unique things to happen every day there would by a high(er) probability of writing down everything in your life which you have already experienced at an earlier point in your life. the only complete random variable in the question is time because the passage of time could creat even more probabilities contradicting the other 2 variables (space and uhhh lets call it lifestyle). well i'll think about it and see if i come up with something better.
