I'm partially scottish, on me mothers side. Unfortunately my fathers family is entirely eastern European, so my Slavic blood apparently murdered the scott in me.
And if I am not sorely mistaken the kilt is indeed a descendant of traditional Scottish apparel, but the modern version was constructed by an Englishman

I see! 

The SNP were actually quite mad at the English designed kilts...they had a press conference to go "oh...isn't that new..The English selling our history for profit  "....but then quite a few scots i know feel that way too, especially about our businesses and such that are usually undermined by random "rules" that the English business authority like to put in place now and again... ("Sorry Scotland, looks like you're too far away and we'll have to put English companies on aaaaall 30+ of the olympic games' needs, too bad~")

Many Scots i know want to team up with Wales, Ireland, and try to join Scandinavia

But that sucks for Scottland. Hard to feel bad for the people who's idea of a sword is a claymore, though.

Scotland is a funny place, many feel that we are a more aggressive England, when really our main differences are things liiiiike...

We have less people in the whole of Scotland than there are in London, so we have only a fraction of the crime rate.
We build reservoirs so we don't get a drought every year without fail 
We have small colloquialisms...like... "dinnae dae that" is "do not do that", and "aw'right mate" is "hello friend" 

Some people seem to think that scots are very aggressive, when in reality our juvenile delinquents are mostly just intimidating, and most of the time they end the confrontation by going "nah mate, ee's sound" or "no friends, he's cool" and they leave you alone.The worst thing i've heard before at my school is that someone brought a machete, that someone brought a butterfly knife, and that someone was stabbing people in the legs with a pin.

xD Diving is great fun, but I prefer rebreathers to air tanks.
Really? That's it xD Here in California we have problems with people bringing combat rifles to schools, a machete would just get laughed at and a suspension tosed their way xD

Exactly...compared to most places Scotland is pretty harmless 

In london you always here about shoot outs and mass drug raids and stuff...

here it's like...
