Honestly...if you wear them the traditional way without anything underneath, you can make lots of people uncomfortable xD

I imagine should the SNP be elected there'll be many more kilts amongst scots  :o

Interesting! I've lived in Edinburgh, Scotland my entire life. I'm actually trying to determine if i am related to James Watt, the inventor of the "Watt" unit of measurement, who was also Scottish and shares my second name on my father's side (hyphonated names are not fun)

I'm partially scottish, on me mothers side. Unfortunately my fathers family is entirely eastern European, so my Slavic blood apparently murdered the scott in me.
And if I am not sorely mistaken the kilt is indeed a descendant of traditional Scottish apparel, but the modern version was constructed by an Englishman :P
