AKULA~!!! is a terrorist in a really bad War game 
... "Arma II" Never get it, it make look good but the game sucks!
*breathes slowly and tries to calm down* ARE YOU SERIOUS! Arma 2 is a boss game! Though, I can understand on some levels why some people would dislike it. These are my rules for enjoying this totally epic First Person Shooter.
- Get used to the controls - Every button on the keyboard does something, it takes a while to get used to it.
- Don't play the campaign - It sucks, big time, ignore it
- Learn how to use the editor - Once you learn how to use the editor, the game gets a whole lot more fun. Especially if you decide to learn LUA, because then you can copy and play real life scenarios!
- Play mutliplayer - Arma 2 is funnest online
- Don't play like Call of Duty - It's a stereotype, I know, but just in case, playing like this was CoD or Battlefield will get you in a lot of disappointing deaths
- Be patient - This game is the most realistic FPS game in the world and like real life, things don't happen instantly. You have to learn to be patient on the battlefield
- Don't be a hero - The game is very anti-climatic at points, when you think something awesome is going to happen, you get shot by a sniper. Don't be a hero, play it safe
That's my guide 
I play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadows of Chernobyl w/ Oblivion 2.2 + Arsenal Mod (Which honestly does make the game infinitely better). Which I consider a much better FPS then Arma 2.
It wasn't about the controls tho, The freaken head bobbing made it seem look like you where drunk while running. In real life you don't honestly bob your head that much when running or at lest I don't. Another thing thats not realistic is you get shot by anthing, 7.62x39, 9x39, .308, .223 it doesn't matter you die after like the 2nd shot. In real life its called body armor so you can get shot up a little bit before coming food for dogs, Thus why I like stalker it has a really nice armor balancing system or well at lest in SoC w/ OL 2.2 +Arsenal (never played SoC vanilla) better armor, more protection, though you'll still die from a 9x19 to head regardless of what your wearing
*Has killed the entire "duty" base with a handgun several times* I also don't play that much multiplayer because I have crap internet and I don't really like playing online
to many people with big ego's and not a lot of skill. Don't worry though I don't play the hero unless I'm doing something stupid but I normally come out okay... normally ... ... stupid grenade didn't go out the window instead it hit the top of the window and landed a foot away from me
I didn't feel like running and half dieing from it so I just sat there a looked at it till it blew up and i died
As for being patient ... I'm pretty good at that ... I've only completed half of the campaign and I've played in game for 4 months, 7 days 14 hours and 33 minutes (the game times is about 5:1) just because the story is so good and I love the game that much. Also patients is key for killing mutants because they can take a good load of damage so when sniping them you have to make sure you get a head shot with a really big gun. (uses the HK 417 'Sniper' or the Dragunov SVU)
so those are my reasons why I don't like Arma II and even if I did want to give it another chance... I can't I used the CD for a target and blew it to a million pieces with a 12ga which was much more satisfying then playing it
